What's the Difference Between .pdf and .doc Files?
The content is exactly the same.
The (.pdf) version is a read-only document and cannot be
edited. The MS Word version can be fully edited in MS Word.
You'll need Adobe Acrobat on your
computer to read the .pdf version.

Adobe Acrobat.
You Can
Easily Upgrade In The Future
If you purchased a
sample plan in Adobe Acrobat and find that you wish to upgrade
to the MS Word file, click on the upgrade link on the second
page of your downloaded plan. Clicking on that link will take you to
the sampleplan.com website. You must purchase the MS Word
version of your business plan and go through the checkout
process. You'll only be charged the difference in price
between the two documents. This upgrade can only be accessed through the upgrade
link.
Are The Financial Tables Interactive?
The
financial tables
do not automatically update when you enter new information.
The files are not
considered software and the financial data is not
interactive. We strongly recommend you replace the information
with financial forecasts prepared by an accountant or by using
interactive business plan software. We highly recommend
Business Plan Pro,
which you can purchase separately for about $100.
